Description: “An animal in offering of sacrifice to the gods”. This painting is inspired by a recent trip to Nepal where I gave witness to the sacrifice of an animal in the surrounding temples of Kathmandu. It is a reminder or how we sacrifice as humans throughout our everyday lives. The process of creating this artwork is an intuitive conversation with the artwork itself as colours and shapes develop on the canvas.
